Parent Online Platform Agreement

I understand that the school will provide my child with access to the school's valuable learning experiences for their Home Learning support as a response to Covid19 from the Tuesday 3 August 2021 inclusive with a Qld State Government review on Sunday 7th August.

 

Home Learning Online Platform:

Establishment of a closed YouTube channel and closed Facebook Home Learning for Mudgeeraba Special School students, families and staff only, I/we understand that this will provide material for my child to access.

 

Home Learning Agreement:

  • I agree to access the closed YouTube Channel by providing a Gmail address for the school to log on for my child’s access.
  • I agree to access the closed Facebook Home Learning by providing an access email for staff to invite our family to the platform.
  • I accept that the teachers have produced these video resources to assist us to maintain the curriculum delivery for our child.
  • I agree to access the teaching videos for my child and will not copy, duplicate, save or forward the school resource.
  • I understand this closed Home Learning agreement includes a package of support:
  • I respect that Mudgeeraba Special School YouTube channel and Facebook Home Learning is private for our school community only
  • I was provided with a Package of resources forwarded home including: Tarheel Reader sample and link https://tarheelreader.org/  and visual supports and resources                                      
  • I can access dditional resources for students Prep and above through Department of Education https://education.qld.gov.au/curriculum/learning-at-home.
  • I can access the Autism Hub: https://ahrc.eq.edu.au/
  • I agree to communicate with school staff between 9am and 4 pm Monday to Friday or understand a response will follow within one school day.
  • I agree that we will communicate professionally and maintain a reciprocal approach with school staff.
