The $180.00 payable Student Offer incorporates:
- Book list requirements
- Student Resources and Consumables
- Reprographics including printing
- Student Communication Diary
The Student Offer is based on the 40 school weeks. This Student Offer of $180.00 for whole school activities can be paid annually, by semester (2x $90.00), by term (4 x $45.00) or weekly (40 weeks x $5.00). A receipt will be forwarded and collected through the office or via student communication diary.
Classes will require further support for their individual user pays programs and will forward the details and invoice to you in writing once their projects have been approved through P&C Association and Administration, for example class cooking programs or user pays programs including: School Performances such as the one held yesterday, swimming, camps etc.
Swimming fees for 2021 will reflect the training credential required to cover instructor led swimming lessons as per our departmental guidelines and we will offer to select teams in 2021.
Non-payment of the school Student Offer may result in a need for alternative programming for your child. It is crucial for these programs to be successful that all families participate.
The School Offer
The School Offer payable for the year is published on the schools website.
This also includes the updated Textbook Resource Allowance (TRA) component, which has been deducted to reduce the overall School Offer payable for Years 7 to 12.
The TRA
The Department of Education provides a Textbook and Resource Allowance (TRA) to assist parents with the cost of textbooks and other education resources including Skill Development and Certificate Courses preparation and delivery for all Years 7 to 12 students.
TRA will now be applied to reduce the cost of participation, thus the School Offer you receive will be the full cost of participation in the School Offer excluding the TRA granted to the school via our departmental budget.
School Performance Followup
All students attended the school performance yesterday "Halfway Around The World" in good faith with the request that families follow through payment as soon as possible to assist with payment to the Schools Performance Team.

Positive Behaviour for Learning
During the school week our students will look at this explicit teaching focus in a number of ways. During learning activities explicit instructions form part of everyday teaching sequences. Student’s will engage in the morning routine, and listen to instructions from teaching staff. Student’s will listen to adults during community outings and teachers will explicitly teach the students to identify trusted adults within the community.
Parents and carers you can assist with this learning by providing your young person with simple one step instructions and following up with specific praise when they are carried out. When you are out in the community you can point out trusted adults such as the police and other trusted members of the community to reinforce the concept that we listen to adults.
Our Annual General Meeting will be announced as soon as the auditor has released the report for 2020. We are planning to hold the meeting on 26 March at 9.15 am in Geyer Centre - Trade Training Centre.
Please find attached the minutes for Friday 12 February meeting. We value your involvement in our school goverance processes and invite you to consider joining our P&C for the betterment of our students. As an Independent Public School our platform for community involvement is forefront in our ways of working.
As always working together for our school community.
