2020 is a year we will not forget:
- it stretched our technological skills
- it improved our hygiene practices
- it assisted our teaching skills
- and most of all it strengthened our Community Spirit
As we leave 2020 behind we look forward to the hope and joy of our Summer Vacation and time with family and friends.
This week we celebrated International Day of People with a Disability and we are reminded constantly of the strengths our young people contribute to our community. We are very excited to be partnering with HOTA to celebrate the Arts and People with a Disability.
As we closing early on Wednesday 9th December as a Government gazetted change of end of year we will forward in your students report our class allocations for 2021 by Wednesday 9 December.
We have been allocated a two classroom relocatable which is currently underway. Student enrolments are still being taken and we will inform you if changes to the final 2021 plan if they are needed.
It is with great sadness that I announce that Katie Andrew will be returning to Western Suburbs next year. We thank Katie for her contribution to Mudgeeraba Special School. She has not been well the last few weeks and will be extending her leave till the end of the year.
The recruitment process for our Deputy Principal position has been approved by our department last week. From the applicants who applied we congratulate Steve Dowlan for his permanent appointment.
I hope you will extend your gratitude to both colleagues.
