Thanks for the email and sharing the amazing work of you and your team. Did you say 564 KLA videos??? I might not have time to watch all of those, but I’ve had a quick look at a sample of the ones you have sent.
Please pass on my thanks to your fantastic team for their work (no doubt many of them worked over the Easter break to be ready for this week). I really appreciate everything they do for your students and families and it’s a testament to the incredible strength of state schools in Qld.
I hope you have a chance to recharge over the weekend and thanks again for reaching out and sharing with me the great work happening at Mudgeeraba Special School

A quote I drew on for myself this week has been “All progress takes place outside your comfort zone”.
We have all been stretched this week:
- Engaging with technology
- Learning new approaches
- Seeing others perspectives
- And negotiating to balance the needs for all with government guidelines
Like the ANZACs we are going boldly into an unknown frontier and we will all become wiser.
Our focus to support personalised learning will be the Seesaw parent teacher communication platform to share school documents and for students to share their work back directly to their teacher. Please see information embedded in this newsletter.
The government guidelines continue to be in place for student attendance. Please refer to the flowchart. Please communicate through the office to myself for further information. These guidelines are to ensure we keep safe and stay strong by seeing Covid subside.
Families we thank you for your engagement this week and your feedback posts it is greatly appreciated as we are working in a new frontier and trying to do it all from the heart.
