Mudgeeraba Special School Community with great consideration I have decided not to return in 2024. I will gracefully take leave and be unattached to the school to forge the way for the next amazing Principal of Mudgeeraba Special School and spend some quality time with my family.

It is with great sadness as I have loved every minute of my 41 year teaching career and most of all every minute of my 20 years at Mudgeeraba and I must say working shoulder to shoulder with the students, staff, families and community is an absolute highlight as I strongly believe in local decision making, governance and student and family support. You are an exceptional community and my only wish is that you maintain the heartbeat of our school as its moral purpose. 

The position will be advertised and an announcement will be made as soon as possibl to the school community.

I look forward to our final moments together next week with Opening of the Bike Track and Graduating Students Assembly, team concert celebrations and more as we close this incredibly amazing school for 2023.
