On Thursday 5 December we endorsed our Quadrennial Strategic Plan 2020 - 2023 with our Assistant Regional Director Kate Bentley. The Executive, Leadership, staff and P&C Teams have driven the final explicit improvement agenda from our outstanding school review to capture our five explicit improvement agendas in a Learning Map to replace the 2016 to 2019 PATH in my office. We have produced a compliant hard copy that we will forward out to all families in 2020. I thank the leadership particuluarly of my deputies Tash Markwick and Katie Andrew and the P&C President and Executive for valued input into our final design. We thank Sue Allen our talented artist and teacher aide who is a member of the Leadership Team that meets fortnightly for her final proof of the Learning Map. We will now with precision execute our plan over the next four years.

We want to take this opportunity to thank every single one of you for the work you did to make sure our 2019 concert was a success last Tuesday night at the Star, the students that were amazing performing on an international stage for the first time, the staff who have supported the performance as their unit of work, the Star and All Saints and our family and friends.

FREE WILDLIFE ADVENTURE- FLEAYS WILDLIFE PARK

ALL AGES WELCOME

It’s that time of year again! Teenage Adventure Camps Qld is holding our annual outings for the local special needs and disadvantaged children and their families.

This years’ outings will be held on Saturday 14^th December.

The aim is to give these children and families a wonderful outing. Tickets have been sponsored by the local business community and the outing is completely free for those attending. Those invited will have the opportunity to see all of the shows the Wildlife Park has to offer such as:

Nocturnal House – sneak a peek at some of Australia’s rarest nocturnal animals
Creatures of the night show – discover the mysteries of the animals of the night (gliders, possums & owls)
Wallaby Walk – meet some of Australia’s iconic animals as park rangers feed the wallabies & emus
Fleay’sin Flight Show
Crocodile feeding
Cassowary Quest Presentation
Creature feature presentation – experience some of Australia’s native wildlife up close.

There will also be a free sausage sizzle & drink provided on the day.

To help facilitate the distribution of tickets we request that you send an expression of interest

Due to the limited availability of tickets the P&C considers a criterion of confirmation, eg. Families who have not received tickets to events in the last 12 months first.

Our aim is to provide equity across the school community.

Senior School Markets - Robina Town Centre

Seniors worked with Robina Town Centre to hold a market stall in The Kitchens today.

This was their last public market stall for the year, and all students had the opportunity to participate today.

Students created products leading up to the Christmas period, and these were on sale today too.

Thanks to Robina Town Centre for working with us. It was another wonderful opportunity for our students to shine in the community.
